Shanghai Chest Hospital (Affiliated Chest Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University) was founded in 1957, which is the earliest established set of medical treatment in China.Teaching and scientific research are integrated, and the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, esophagus, trachea, and mediastinal diseases are the main specialized hospitals. The hospital has 12 clinical departments and 10 medical technology departments; There are 580 approved beds and 17 wards. Shanghai Institute of Thoracic Tumors is attached. There is also the Shanghai Thoracic Tumor Research Institute and the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory; The hospital has advanced medical equipment such as DSA, CT, ECT, color ultrasound, automatic biochemical analyzer and ICU and CCU monitoring system; At present, there are more than 840 employees, 25 enjoy special allowances of the State Council, 55 people have served as members of academic groups in the city and the country, and 32 times have served as editorial board members of provincial, municipal and national magazines.
