DESCRIPTION OF STANDARD UNIT
These water cooled chiller units and water-water heat pumps with cycle reversal on the chilling circuit operate
with R22 coolant and are suitable for indoor installation. Factory tested, on-site installation involves hydraulic and
electrical connections only.
The panelling and bed plate are in electro-galvanised cataphoretic coated steel to ensure complete resistance to atmospheric agents.
Rubber anti-vibration kit supplied as standard.
COMPRESSOR
Rotary scroll type compressor complete with sump heater and thermal protection.
EVAPORATOR/CONDENSER
AISI 316 steel plate exchanger. Externally insulated with closed cell neoprene anticondensation lagging. Plate
exchanger on installation side complete with frost-protection temperature sensor and differential pressure
switch. Plate exchanger on well side in heat pump version complete with frost protection temperature sensor.
CHILLER CIRCUIT
Unit chiller circuits fitted with the following components:
filter, liquid flow indicator, thermostatic expansion valve with external equaliser, four-way reverse valve for cycle
reversal on the chilling circuit (HRHN only), nonreturn valves (HRHN only). Safety pressure switch for controlling
delivery and intake pressures. Units supplied complete with unfreezable oil and R22 coolant.
POWER AND CONTROL ELECTRICAL SWITCHBOARD
The power and control electrical switchboard conforms to IEC 204-I/EN60204-I standards. It includes contactors
for the compressors and main door lock switch. Built-in control and adjustment via CVM 2 microprocessor.
